Air cargo growth slowing down in March
Our Q1 figures show positive growth in chargeable weight. However, March 2024 was up with only +6% compared with March 2023, so much lower YoY growth than what we have seen in the first two months of the year. This lower growth resonates with what we hear from our customers. It also depends on who you talk to and where their business is, since different markets are clearly showing different growth patterns.
After two months of rate decreases, March shows again an increase in the average worldwide rate (up +6% compared with February).
