Air Cargo Market Data continues to expand. We are looking for highly motivated people who are interested to work in a small, but fast-growing company with the following characteristics:

Collecting, analyzing and publishing market data about air cargo worldwide
Having developed the world’s largest air cargo market database in less than 10 years
Serving customers on all continents, dealing with a wide variety of cultures

Office in the centre of Amsterdam at Keizersgracht

WorldACD is looking for a Data Scientist. In this job you will combine multiple roles:

Analyze air cargo data and report on trends & patterns
Generate new insights for our customers
Support customers and colleagues in their data needs & questions
Develop and implement techniques to identify and solve potential data issues and to improve the data processing
Communication with customers to understand the data and safeguard data consistency
Participate in the data processing & reporting activities

Suitable candidates for the current vacancy will most likely fit the following profile:

University degree plus relevant work experience in areas such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Econometrics or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Eager to explore large datasets and find meaningful patterns
Drive for continuous improvement in a long term perspective
Passion for analytics and business intelligence
Experience with writing SQL queries in a large database
Expert user in Excel and preferably in other data exploration / BI tools
